Bryan founded GSFT and leads both sides of its practice: he instructs the DPS school safety certification course for districts across Texas, and he leads every TxSSC safety and security audit engagement as GSFT’s lead auditor, listed on the Texas School Safety and Security Consultant Registry (TEC §37.2091). He is a DPS-certified school safety instructor (Government Code §411.1901), a TCOLE-certified instructor, a CRASE (Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events) instructor, a U.S. Air Force Security Forces combat veteran, and an honorably retired Texas peace officer with more than two decades of combined military and law-enforcement service.

Born and raised in Arlington, Texas, Bryan joined the U.S. Air Force as a reservist and guardsman in 1999 at age 20. A distinguished graduate of the Air Force Security Forces School and Ground Combat School, he served multiple deployments — including South America — before 9/11. He became a police officer in 2001, was activated after 9/11 and deployed to Afghanistan, and later assisted in Hurricane Katrina operations in 2005. He was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant and retired from law enforcement in April 2017.

His teaching philosophy is the company’s: armed-staff programs succeed on selection, judgment, and documented proficiency — not bravado.

Bryan Proctor was among the original twelve instructors in Texas certified by DPS to deliver the school safety certification course under Government Code §411.1901.

GSFT instructors have certified school Guardians representing more than 200 Texas school districts.

Beyond his school-safety work, Bryan has been interviewed as a firearms and personal-safety subject-matter expert — including Fox 4 News and WFAA . GSFT’s school-safety coverage is collected in our newsroom.

Donnie serves as Operations Manager and Lead Instructor for GSFT – School Safety Certification, where he has been a vital part of the organization for more than seven years, advancing GSFT’s mission through operational leadership and instructor development.

He brings 18 years of public service and a deep commitment to safety, professionalism, and service. He is a DPS-certified School Safety Certification (Guardian) instructor and is listed on the TxSSC School Safety and Security Consultant Registry as an auditor. He is commissioned with the Texas Commission on Fire Protection and holds four certifications from the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC).

Donnie is also an American Heart Association CPR/AED instructor and an American College of Surgeons–certified Stop the Bleed instructor. Beyond his professional credentials, he is licensed in ministry and serves as a certified chaplain.

He is a devoted husband to his wife, Cassi, a proud father of three daughters, and a grandfather of five.

Ted is a DPS-certified Texas School Safety Certification (Guardian) instructor with 30 years of experience in the criminal and juvenile justice field.

He serves as Director of Business Development for a private juvenile justice company that works with county probation departments, juvenile judges, schools, and other referral sources. He has previously served as a Chief Juvenile Officer and as administrator of a juvenile facility.

Ted graduated from Sul Ross State University in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.

Samantha is GSFT’s School Safety Coordinator — scheduling, proposals, procurement paperwork, and client communication all run through her desk. When your district requests an estimate or a W-9, it’s Samantha herself who gets back to you, the same business day in most cases.

She holds a degree in mathematics from Sam Houston State University — a background that shows in how GSFT’s calendars, contracts, and compliance trackers actually stay straight.

Outside the office, Samantha is a loving wife and mother of four, an avid outdoorswoman, and a competitive ultra-marathon canoe racer — the kind of endurance that makes a Texas training calendar look easy.
