A Texas firm with one focus: school safety that holds up
GSFT – School Safety Certification serves Texas school districts, open-enrollment charter schools, private schools, and the law-enforcement agencies that protect them. We do the audits, deliver the training, and build the documentation — so your safety program stands up to a board meeting, a TEA review, and the day it matters.
What we believe
School safety is won in preparation, not in slogans. Our work is calm, procedural, and documented: verify the requirement, meet it, prove it, and keep it current. We do not sell fear, and we do not make promises about legal outcomes — no vendor honestly can. What we can do is make your program compliant, trained, and demonstrably serious.
What we do
- TxSSC safety and security audits under Texas Education Code §37.108, including the security reviews added by House Bill 33
- Guardian program design and training, with the DPS school safety certification course (Gov’t Code §411.1901) at its core
- Continuing education and scenario training that keeps armed-staff programs proficient and defensible
- Consulting and coordination — emergency planning support, policy development, and administrator/law-enforcement alignment
Who we serve
Independent school districts across their three-year audit cycles; charter schools that need a full safety office’s output without hiring one; private and parochial schools adopting safety measures voluntarily; and Texas law-enforcement agencies coordinating with armed-staff campuses in their jurisdictions.
How we work
- Official sources only. Every legal statement on this site cites the statute or agency source, with the date we last reviewed it.
- Verifiable claims only. If we state a credential, you can check it — and we link you to where.
- Confidentiality by structure. Guardian identities, audit findings, and campus vulnerabilities never appear in our marketing and are never collected through public forms.
- Precise language. We are registered with the Texas School Safety Center’s consultant registry as state law requires — registration is verification, not endorsement, and we say so.
One brand, one mission
GSFT – School Safety Certification is dedicated to school and institutional safety work. Our instructors’ broader training backgrounds inform the work, but this practice — and this website — serve one audience: the people responsible for keeping Texas campuses safe.
Meet the people behind the work: our leadership team.
